3. After selecting the hair you would like to start to colour the hair so all you do simply is press (CTRL+U) to bring up the hue satuation menu and start to change the colour of the hair as you choose and then after this start to go round with the eraser tool were maybe the skins been coloured will turn it back to normal and leave the hair the new colour as shown below.
These are the settings for the eraser.
